Request detail page — full-page view with per-process layout
Who this is for
Section titled “Who this is for”All agents — the request detail page is where you take action on any request, view its full history, and track linked work.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”You can reach the detail page by clicking any request row from a Process list page, the Inbox, or a search result. The URL is /requests/[id] — you can bookmark it or share it directly.
Step-by-step
Section titled “Step-by-step”Review where a Certificate, Renewal, Intake, or Endorsement request stands:
- Open any request from the Certificates, Renewals, Intake, or Endorsements page.
- The workflow stepper across the top shows every stage — done stages carry a check, the current stage is highlighted, and upcoming stages are shown in muted style.
- The current-ask callout below the stepper tells you exactly who the request is waiting on and what to do next.
Act on a request:
- Use the action buttons in the side panel to approve, decline, request changes, or take any other workflow action available for the current stage.
- If the request has form items, they appear in the Items by stage section — expand a stage group to view or download a submitted document.
Work with triage on a vendor request:
- On vendor-initiated requests that land in Pending triage, a triage panel appears above the stepper.
- Search for an existing insured and click Match to link the request and start the normal workflow.
- If no matching insured exists, click Create new insured to create one on the spot and link it simultaneously.
- If the submission is invalid, click Reject and enter a reason.
Track linked child requests:
- On a renewal or endorsement that has spawned follow-on work — such as replacement COI certificates — scroll to the Linked requests section on the detail page.
- Each child request is listed with its current stage; click a child to open its own detail page.
Work with an “Other Requests” entry:
- Open any request from the Other Requests page. Instead of the stepper and current-ask callout, you’ll see a list of the request’s items down the left side, each with a completion indicator.
- Click any item to see its detail in the read-only pane on the right. An item Koffyr recognizes as COI-related shows the same coverage-rule evaluation panel used on Certificate requests; other item types show a simple status pane.
- Use the action bar at the bottom of the page to act on the request — these actions apply to the whole request, not just the item you’re viewing.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”- Workflow actions take effect immediately. Notifications are sent automatically based on your agency’s notification settings.
- Triage resolution moves the request to the next stage in the COI workflow. If coverage rules do not auto-approve it, it lands in the review queue.
- Child requests must all reach a terminal state before their parent renewal or endorsement can advance to its own terminal stage.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The triage panel is not visible on a vendor request. Triage actions require the owner, manager, CSR, or producer role. If your role is read-only, you can view the request but not act on it.
I used to open request details in a side panel — where did it go? The slide-over ?id= URL pattern was replaced by the full-page /requests/[id] route. Old bookmarks with ?id= will redirect automatically.
The Spawned work section is empty. Linked child requests only appear once they have been created and linked via parent_request_id. For renewals, the section populates when the renewal reaches the distributing stage.
An “Other Requests” entry doesn’t show a workflow stepper or current-ask callout. That’s expected — Other Requests use a different, simpler layout (an item list plus a single action bar) instead of the stepper-based layout used by Certificates, Renewals, Intake, and Endorsements.
