Set up your agency profile

Who this is for

Agency Owners and Managers completing first-time setup or updating their agency’s branding. You need Owner or Manager access to edit the organization profile.

Before you start

Have the following ready before you open Settings:

Your agency’s legal or trading name.
A preferred handle (short, URL-safe identifier — e.g., acme-insurance).
Your agency’s primary operating jurisdiction (state or province).
A logo file (PNG or SVG recommended; check file size limits shown in the upload dialog).
Optional: a favicon file (PNG, SVG, or ICO; 512 KB maximum).
Optional: your primary and secondary brand colors as hex values.

Step-by-step

Agency profile:

Sign in and click Settings in the left sidebar.
Select Organization from the settings menu.
Fill in your agency Name, Handle, and Jurisdiction, then click Save.

Branding (logo, favicon, colors):

Select Branding from the settings menu.
In the Logo section, click Upload logo, select your file, and confirm.
In the Favicon section, click Upload favicon, select your file, and confirm.
In the Colors section, enter hex values for your primary and secondary brand colors. A live portal preview on the right updates as you type — this is exactly how the insured portal will look with your branding.
If the preview shows an accessibility warning, your brand color does not meet the WCAG 2 AA contrast standard (4.5:1). Choose a darker or lighter shade until the warning clears.
Click Save.

What happens next

Your logo and brand colors appear on your public COI intake portal (if enabled), on transactional emails your clients receive, and as the agency label on issued COI PDFs. Your favicon appears in browser tabs when your team opens the portal. Changes take effect immediately — no republishing step is required. All profile changes are recorded in the Audit trail.

Troubleshooting

“Handle already taken.” Handles must be unique across all Koffyr agencies. Try adding a city, state abbreviation, or year (e.g., acme-insurance-tx).

“Logo rejected.” The upload dialog shows accepted file formats and the maximum file size. Convert your logo to PNG or SVG and ensure the file is under the size limit before trying again.

“Favicon rejected.” Favicons must be PNG, SVG, or ICO format and under 512 KB. Convert and resize the file, then try again.

Colors revert after reload. This is fixed as of May 2026. If you see this on an older portal session, sign out and sign back in to refresh your session.
