STILL TALKING YOURSELF OUT OF IT?
What counts as a request? + −
Every request you run through the portal — certificates, renewals, new-business intakes,
endorsements — counts as one. Drafts, voids, and previewed-but-not-sent certificates
don't count against your monthly limit. FREE includes 10 requests/month; STARTER caps at
100/month; CORE and PRO are unlimited.
Do I pay per agent? + −
STARTER caps at 3 users; CORE and PRO are unlimited. No per-seat fee at any tier.
Annual vs. monthly — what's the catch? + −
None. Annual is billed once at signup with a 20% discount. Cancel any time and keep
access through the end of the annual term. No partial-period refunds.
What happens if I hit my request limit? + −
Your usage is always visible in Settings → Billing. At the limit, new sends pause until
you upgrade or the month rolls over — nothing already issued or in flight is affected,
and upgrading takes effect immediately.
Can I switch tiers later? + −
Upgrade any time, pro-rated. Downgrade at the next renewal.
Why does PRO say 'Book demo' instead of 'Start free'? + −
PRO includes white-glove onboarding and a custom full domain (CNAME), which take
coordination to set up correctly. We do a quick call to confirm the setup — and to make
sure PRO is actually the right tier for your volume. Most agencies start with CORE.
Why not just use our AMS's built-in cert module? + −
AMS cert modules generate a certificate — they don't give your insured a self-service
portal, they don't do requester-initiated intake from GCs and property managers, and
they don't produce the tamper-evident audit trail your E&O carrier actually wants.

We already use myCOI or Certificate Hero. + −
myCOI (now illumend) is built for risk managers tracking vendor COIs — not for the
agency issuing them. Certificate Hero is a capable issuing platform; it does not publish
pricing, requires a sales conversation to start, and is priced for larger agencies.

What changes for my CSR on day 2? + −
The biggest change is what stops happening: they stop receiving COI requests by email
and phone. Requests come in through the portal — either from the insured self-serving, a
GC hitting a request link, or the CSR initiating directly. The CSR reviews exceptions;
routine certs auto-issue within the guardrails set once. The audit trail replaces the

What happens to COIs we issued before switching? + −
They live in your existing system — Koffyr doesn't import historical certificates. Going
forward, every cert issued through Koffyr lands in the platform's audit trail. For the
transition period, your E&O renewal packet will have two sources: your prior system and
Koffyr's one-click export. Most agencies find one year of Koffyr history is sufficient
for renewal conversations.
