For insureds

You got a link from your
insurance agency.

Your agency uses Koffyr to manage certificates of insurance, policy documents, and intake forms. This page explains what Koffyr is, who can see your data, and what you can do from the portal.

What is Koffyr?

Your agency's client portal.

Koffyr is a software platform that independent insurance agencies use to issue certificates of insurance (COIs), collect renewal information, and manage client documents — all in one branded portal.

When your agency sends you a Koffyr link, they're giving you access to their portal so you can request a COI, complete a renewal questionnaire, or sign a document — without having to email back and forth or call during business hours.

The portal is branded to your agency. If you see a link to cooperinsurance.koffyr.com, that's your agency's branded portal — Koffyr is the technology running it, but your agency is your point of contact for anything policy-related.

Your data

Who can see what.

Your data belongs to your agency's relationship with you — not to Koffyr.

Your agency

Your agent and their team have full access to your records, requests, and documents — the same as they always have.

You

You can view and download your own COIs, documents, and completed forms from the portal at any time.

Koffyr

Koffyr can see your data as a data processor (we store and operate the platform), but we do not use it for any purpose other than providing the service to your agency. We do not sell it, analyze it for marketing, or share it with third parties outside of our published sub-processor list.

Common questions

Answers for insureds.

Why did I get an email from Koffyr? +
Your insurance agency uses Koffyr for their client portal. They sent you a link or a magic-link sign-in email to access a certificate of insurance, complete a form, or review a document. If you weren't expecting it, contact your agent directly to confirm.
Is this a phishing email? +
Koffyr sends emails on behalf of your agency — your agency's name will appear in the email, and the link will go to your agency's branded portal (e.g., yourAgency.koffyr.com). If you're unsure, call your agent directly using the number you already have on file. Do not click a link in any email you weren't expecting.
What is a certificate of insurance (COI)? +
A COI is a one-page document that proves you have insurance coverage. Landlords, property managers, general contractors, and event venues typically ask for one before letting you work on their property or rent their space. Your agency issues it; Koffyr is the portal they use to do that.
Can I request my own COI through the portal? +
Yes, if your agency has enabled self-service for your account. Log in to your agency's portal with the magic link they send you, and you'll see a "New certificate" option if it's available for your policies.
Who do I contact if I have a question about my coverage? +
Your insurance agent — not Koffyr. Koffyr is the technology platform; your agent is your point of contact for anything about your policy, coverage limits, or claims.
How do I get a copy of my COI? +
Log in to your agency's portal with the link they sent you, or ask your agent to email you a copy. If you're having trouble accessing the portal, contact your agent directly.
Where can I read Koffyr's privacy policy? +
At koffyr.com/privacy. Your agency may also have a separate privacy notice for their business. Koffyr processes your data as a data processor on behalf of your agency, which is the data controller.
